A striking water feature, made for your garden
Bring movement, texture and the gentle sound of water to your outdoor space with a custom Corten steel water table from The Metal Hut. Its clean lines and warm, earthy finish create a distinctive focal point beside a seating area, within a planted courtyard or as part of a larger garden design.
Made to order in Britain, each water table is sized around your space. Choose a compact square design for a smaller patio, a balanced rectangle for a garden terrace, or a long statement feature for a spacious landscape.
Choose your length, width and height
Enter your measurements in millimetres using the size options:
- Length: 500–6,000 mm
- Width: 500–2,500 mm
- Overall height: 300–1,000 mm
Choose equal length and width measurements for a square water table, or different measurements for a rectangular design. The height measurement is the overall external height of the table, rather than the depth of the visible water surface.
The character of Corten steel
Corten is a weathering steel recognised for its distinctive rust-toned appearance. The exterior develops changing shades of orange, brown and deep rust as it weathers, adding texture and character to the garden.
Natural variation is part of its appeal. Each table develops its own appearance depending on its setting and exposure, complementing ornamental grasses, lush planting, gravel and contemporary landscaping.
Pump included
A water pump is included with your table. Gently bubbling water creates ripples across the surface, adding movement and a relaxing sound to your outdoor space.
Fountain number, spacing and final layout depend on the size and specification of your table. The images show examples of different proportions and settings to help you visualise the design in your own garden.
Designed around your outdoor space
Position your water table where you can enjoy it from a favourite seat, a garden path or the windows of your home. A compact square design can anchor a courtyard, while a longer rectangular table can sit alongside a terrace or form the centrepiece of a landscaped area.
Choose a firm, level base and plan access for delivery before ordering. Large tables require suitable access and unloading arrangements, agreed before dispatch. Contact us before ordering if your site has restricted access or requires lifting equipment.
Finish and care
Corten runoff can mark nearby paving and other surfaces, particularly while the finish develops. Plan drainage and positioning with this in mind, especially around pale stone, concrete or timber.
Remove leaves and debris, maintain the required water level and care for the pump in accordance with its instructions.
Lifestyle images are illustrative and show a weathered appearance. Natural colour variation is expected; the supplied finish and fountain arrangement form part of your order specification.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes are available?
Choose a length from 500 to 6,000 mm, a width from 500 to 2,500 mm and an overall height from 300 to 1,000 mm. Enter your dimensions in millimetres. Larger designs may require individual delivery and specification arrangements.
Can I order a square water table?
Yes. Choose the same length and width for a square table. Square sizes range from 500 × 500 mm to 2,500 × 2,500 mm, with your chosen height.
Is a pump included?
Yes, a water pump is included. The pump specification and fountain arrangement will suit the agreed table design.
How many fountains will my water table have?
The number and spacing of fountains depend on the dimensions and specification of the table. Images illustrate different layouts; the arrangement for your order is confirmed as part of its specification.
Will the colour look exactly like the photographs?
Corten develops a naturally varied finish, so colours and weathering patterns differ. The lifestyle images show an illustrative weathered appearance. Please check the supplied finish in your order specification before purchase.
Does Corten steel stain paving?
Rust-coloured runoff can mark adjacent materials, especially while the surface is weathering. Allow for suitable drainage and protection when positioning the table on or beside stone, concrete, timber or other surfaces that may stain.
What base does the water table need?
Use a firm, level base suitable for the table’s weight when filled. Consider the final position, access to the pump and the delivery route before ordering. Large designs need suitable installation and unloading arrangements.
How do I look after the water feature?
Remove leaves and debris, maintain the required water level and clean and maintain the pump according to its instructions. Follow the pump manufacturer’s guidance for cold weather and periods when the feature is not in use.
